  • Caran d'Ache Grafwood Graphite Pencils

    Caran d'Ache Grafwood Graphite Pencils
Grafwood pencils are probably the finest graphite pencils money can buy. What makes them special? Not all graphite is created equal. Only the best graphite from Germany and Sri lanka is used in the manufacture of these pencils. This graphite has the highest purity. It has a higher percentage of pure graphite than the graphite from Mexico that is used in most graphite products. The clay used in the creation of the leads is triple centrifuged, removing almost 100% of the sand and silica particles. This expensive process results in the smoothest graphite possible.
