These handmade brushes feature pure Kolinsky sable hair at an
economical price. The hairs come to a fine point and maintain excellent
spring while offering excellent color carrying capacity. The short
wooden handles are finished with ultramarine lacquer and feature
seamless nickel plated ferrules. A: Series 110 rounds have a larger ‘
belly’ than synthetics, bringing the head to a distinct tapered point.
These are ideal for washes as well as fine line work. B: Series 200 Designer rounds
feature a longer ‘ length out’ of hair, suited to the more linear style of illustrators and designers. C: Series 330 Rigger was originally designed for painting the rigging on sailing ship these
brushes are excellent for painting continuous fine lines such as
overhead wires and branches. D: Series 660
one-strokes are short and flat are used for washes and also makes a unique chisel edged
flat mark.
