GAC 100 is useful for diluting and extending colors as well as increasing flexibility and film integrity. Wets out pigments more readily than other polymers. Economical for artists creating their own paints.

 

GAC 200 is the hardest and least flexible of the Golden polymers. Mix with acrylic paints to increase film hardness and reduce dry film tack. Useful for mixing with paint when adhering to nonporous surfaces such as glass. Do not use on flexible supports.

 

GAC 400 dries to a hard, stiff film, allowing artists to transform light-weight fabrics into freestanding forms that will hold shapes. It can be heatset.

 

GAC 500 acrylic polymer has a unique balance of film hardness and flexibility, it promotes these qualities in Golden Paints when used as a medium. It offers a self-leveling (smooth) working quality and dries to a high gloss film with good transparency. It is also useful for increasing mar resistance and decreasing dry film tack. When mixed with Aibrush Transparent Extender it can be used as a sprayable isolation coat.

 

GAC 700 dries to a high gloss, very clear film with moderate hardness.

 

GAC 800 When poured in puddles, other polymers may “craze” as they dry. GAC 800 minimizes this with good gloss and flexibility. Moderate clarity.

 

GAC 900 For painting fabric without causing them to become stiff. when heat-set, GAC 900 offers a very soft hand and laundering stability. Mix with acrylic colors for fabric paints to be airbrushed, brushed or screen applied.
